This railway tunnel was built in 1914-1917. Now it’s abandoned and the rail tracks has been removed. The length is about 1,2 km and the hole is straight, thus you can actually see both of the ends of the tunnel.
The buildings were almost empty, but there were cool graphites.

Sadly the mine shaft is full of water, it wasn’t possible to visit underground without diving devices.
I visited here first during winter and next in spring.

Wehrmacth army built a military base in Klomino. But after WW2 Red Army take the place under its control. The village was abandoned, when Soviet army left Poland in 1993.
Now it’s empty. I visited there 2010 autumn, when heavy rain make our visiting difficult. I noticed there must be someone living, because I heard a dog barking in a house with undamaged window.
